The hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world.

Mothers have shaped cradle and have never stopped shaping them. Their tenderness, love, compassion and nurture are next to none. No doubt, there is a need to thank Mothers everyday for the great roles they play in human lives.

Mother’s Day is a special day dedicated to honouring moms all over the world, and also, a great opportunity for you to express your gratitude and appreciation to your Mother.

Mother’s Day is all about ensuring the most important woman in your life feels loved. So, here are a few suggestions for celebrating your mother:

Breakfast in Bed
What is one thing that vividly reminds you of your mum? Bet you, it’s the sound of clanging pots and pans early in the morning and the sweet smell of breakfast being served on the dining table.
Now is your time to serve her and even better, more nutritious breakfast in bed. Ensure she stays warm and cozy in bed, while you serve her a well decorated tray of her favourite food, fruits and drinks. Some of our breakfast ideas are: Pancakes, Waffles, Bread, Eggs, Bacon and Sausages.

Send Her Flowers
Women love a good bouquet of their favourite flower. Flowers are one of the most beautiful things on earth and what’s better than sending a bouquet of fresh flowers to your beautiful mother to wish her a Happy Mother’s Day.

Plan A Special Occasion
This could be a date, fun activity or even shopping. You can choose an activity or a hobby for her, a destination visit or something for the two of you to do together, anything you know your mum likes to do and actually enjoys. Seize this moment to engage her in her favourite activities and also spend some quality time with her and you’ll see the glee in her eyes throughout the day.

Buy a Thoughtful Gift
We’re sure there’s something she has always wanted to get or is currently eyeing in the mall or sitting patiently in her cart. Do her a favour and give her whatever she wants, will you?
To make it even more memorable, you can wrap the present and write a sweet note to her telling her how much you love and admire her and how much value she adds to your life.

A Spa Day
If your mother is a career woman, the best way to lift the stress off of her is by treating her to a day at the spa. Visit spas and ask for their rates for their massage sessions, pedicures and manicures, facials and book the preferred services for your lady.
If you’re not sure of what exactly she likes, you could purchase a gift certificate and gift it to her so she can use it to pamper herself.

Film Night
Another way of celebrating Mother’s Day in an intimate way is to spend quality time together binge watching her favourite films and shows.
Whether your mum is into k-drama, Bollywood or chick flicks, ensure to indulge her in all of her favorites.
Also, remember to have a basket of popcorn, ice cream and her favourite snacks available and easily reachable.
Some movie night recommendations are, ‘Little Women’, ‘Crazy Rich Asians’, ‘Raya’ and the ‘Last Dragon’ and ‘Encanto’.
