President Bola Tinubu has vehemently condemned the recent abductions of internally-displaced persons in Borno State and students in Kaduna State.

In a press release issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu expressed his outrage over the abominable acts and directed security and intelligence agencies to take immediate action to rescue the victims.

“I have received briefing from security chiefs on the two incidents, and I am confident that the victims will be rescued. Nothing else is acceptable to me and the waiting family members of these abducted citizens. Justice will be decisively administered,” President Tinubu stated.

The President’s directive comes amidst growing concerns over the security situation in the affected states, with families anxiously awaiting the safe return of their loved ones. President Tinubu assured the families of the victims that they would soon be reunited and emphasized that justice would be served against the perpetrators of these heinous crimes.

The abductions have sparked outrage across the country, with calls for urgent action to ensure the safety and security of all citizens. President Tinubu’s decisive response underscores his commitment to protecting the lives and well-being of Nigerians.

Security forces have been mobilized to launch rescue operations in both Borno and Kaduna states, with efforts intensified to track down and apprehend the perpetrators. The President has called for maximum cooperation from all relevant stakeholders to ensure the success of the rescue missions.
