Nottingham Forest Hit With Heavy Fines And Bans Following VAR Controversy.

Nottingham Forest has faced a series of severe penalties over the past week, accumulating a combined nine-match ban and a staggering £825,000 in fines directed at key figures within the club.

The club itself has been fined £750,000 for a social media post criticising VAR. Meanwhile, club captain Morgan Gibbs-White has received a £20,000 fine and a one-match ban.

Manager Nuno Espirito Santo has been handed a £55,000 fine alongside a three-match ban, while owner Evangelos Marinakis faces a five-match ban, further compounding the team’s disciplinary issues.

These sanctions follow a tumultuous period for Forest, as the punishments imposed on the captain, manager, and owner create significant challenges for the club in the coming weeks.
