Exciting Weekend Ahead in Nigeria Premier Football League

NPFL: The Nigeria Premier Football League promises another thrilling weekend with nine captivating games scheduled across various venues.

One of the weekend’s highlights is the clash between Lobi Stars and defending champions Enyimba, set to take place at the Lafia City Stadium. Enyimba, currently in second place, will face Lobi Stars, who occupy the third spot in the league standings.

Joseph Atule, an in-form forward for Enyimba with five goals in six games since returning from injury, will be facing his former club in this highly anticipated fixture.

In Akure, Sunshine Stars will look to bounce back from a recent defeat as they host Bayelsa United, who are battling to avoid relegation.

League leaders Rangers will aim to extend their unbeaten streak when they take on Katsina United at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium. The Flying Antelopes have been formidable, remaining undefeated in their last 10 matches, while Katsina United is enjoying a streak of two games without defeat.

Plateau United, eager to return to winning form, will host Doma United in Jos. Doma United, buoyed by a recent victory over Akwa United, seeks to build on their newfound momentum.

Meanwhile, Kano Pillars will face Shooting Stars at the Sani Abacha Stadium, aiming to recover from a heavy defeat suffered at the hands of Enyimba earlier in the week.

Football enthusiasts can expect an action-packed weekend full of intense competition and thrilling encounters in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
