South African rapper David Junior Ngcobo, popularly known as Nasty C, has revealed that his stage name has no real meaning.

South African rapper David Junior Ngcobo, popularly known as Nasty C, has revealed that his stage name has no real meaning. He admitted that he randomly combined letters to create the name.

He also confessed that he previously invented a story about his first producer calling him “Nasty Cat” as a way to honor the producer and give his stage name a narrative. “I made up the story because I wanted a backstory and to show respect to the person who helped me start my career,” Nasty C said.

Looking ahead, the rapper shared plans to change his stage name to “Ivyson,” inspired by the name of his late mother, Ivy, as a way to honor her memory.

This revelation gives fans a fresh perspective on the artist’s journey and personal inspirations behind his music career.
