On Monday, parents of Nigerian students studying abroad, on Scholarship blocked the Entrance of the Federal ministry of Finance in Abuja.

They are requesting the payment of unpaid allowances owed to their children.

Their children, who are on multiple bilateral education agreements and other scholarship schemes, have not gotten their stipends for 16 months, while an additional eight-month shortfall remains unsettled, the protesters stated.
