Unfolding event of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in the Southeast Zone has seen the National Vice Chairman, Mr. Ali Odefa, suspended from the party.

Following some suspicious moves of Mr. Ali Odesa, The Ward Executive Committee, led by acting ward chairman, Herbert Ovuta, conveyed a press gathering to announce the suspension of its national vice chairman, Southeast Zone, in Onicha Local Government Area on Friday.

As attached, the VC, Odefa was accused of engagement in “anti-party activities.”

Flanked by other committee members, acting ward chairman Ovuta stated: “We are here to inform you of the resolution of the Oguduokwor Ward Executive Committee to suspend Chief Ali Odefa, the National Vice Chairman of the PDP Southeast Zone, for activities that are destructive to our party’s name.”

He established that “the national vice chairman, Southeast zone’s suspension is in compliance with Section 57 (3) of the PDP Constitution. Additionally, we have referred Chief Ali Odefa to the Ward Disciplinary Committee for further action.”
