Oil marketers are currently converting some of their trucks to start supplying gas to filling stations in order to dispense Compressed Natural Gas to vehicles that run on gas. It was gathered on Thursday that about 800 tankers that formerly transported petrol to filling stations, were being converted by marketers to start moving gas to retail outlets. The marketers told our correspondent that they were now collocating CNG dispensing pumps in selected filling stations that dispensed Premium Motor Spirit, popularly called petrol. The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, on Thursday, applied to the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal for an order to inspect electoral materials used during the March 18 governorship poll. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the APC governorship candidate, Dr Nasiru Gawuna, is urging the tribunal to nullify the declaration of Abba Kabir-Yusuf of the NNPP as governor. The United States government has assured the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), of more support and collaboration in different areas of its strategic operations to enhance its capabilities against substance abuse and illicit drug trafficking in Nigeria. Edo state government has raised the minimum wage for workers on its payroll from N30, 000 to N40, 000, Governor Godwin Obaseki  announced yesterday. The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission of denying him access to electoral documents despite paying N6 million. Atiku is challenging the declaration of President of Bola Tinubu by INEC at the February 25 presidential polls.
