The meeting, which took place at the Presidential Villa after the weekly FEC meeting on Wednesday, was aimed at seeking counsel from the VP to ensure adequate preparation ahead of the elections.

Two serving Ministers who are Senior Advocates of Nigeria, SAN: Mr. Festus Keyamo and Mr. Babatunde Fashola attended the meeting.

The current Nationl Legal Adviser to the ruling party, Barr. Ahmed El-Marzuk and his predecessor, Mr. Babatunde Ogala, SAN, other party and government officials were also in attendance.

State House correspondents saw the attendees at the Vice President’s wing of the Presidential Villa but none of them addressed the press.
