Anambra Wins National Primary Healthcare Awards, Secures $1.2 Million Prize

Anambra Wins National Primary Healthcare Awards, Secures $1.2 Million Prize.

The Governor of Anambra State has announced the state’s remarkable achievement at the National Primary Healthcare Leadership Challenge, where it won two prestigious awards. Anambra emerged as the Best State in the Southeast zone and the Overall Best State in Nigeria.

 

The governor described the recognition as a testament to the state’s commitment to prioritising the health and well-being of its people. He expressed pride in the achievement, revealing that Anambra was awarded a total of $1.2 million in prize money, which would be invested in further strengthening the state’s healthcare system.





 

Acknowledging the contributions of healthcare workers, officials, and the wider community, the governor extended his gratitude for their hard work and dedication, noting that their collective efforts made the achievement possible.

 

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to building a livable, clean, and prosperous Anambra while pledging to continue striving towards making the state a model of hope and development in Nigeria.

 

The governor concluded by expressing optimism for Anambra’s future, urging the state to keep aiming for success in all endeavours.
