Tobi Amusan has won the gold medal in the women’s 100 meters hurdles at the ongoing African Games in Ghana.

Amusan clocked 12.89 seconds to finish ahead of Sidonie Fiadanantsoa of Madagascar who ran at a time of 13.19 seconds to finish 2nd.

She now has a hat-trick of 100m hurdles African Games titles after winning the event at the last two editions in 2015 and 2019.

Amusan is the current world record holder in the 100 metres hurdles with a time of 12.12 seconds which she set at the 2022 women’s 100 metres hurdles semi final in Eugene Oregon.
