Zaidu Sanusi is a major doubt for Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash with South Africa (Govima Sport Reports)

Zaidu Sanusi the Porto FC left-back and Nigeria international wasn’t involved in the team’s final training in Bouake on Tuesday night.

Zaidu who has been battling with injury since the beginning of the AFCON 2023 final, has come under heavy criticism from supporters who have not been impressed by his shaky displays so far for the Super Eagles at the on going AFCON tournament in Cote d’Ivoire.

Regardless of that, the defender seems to have the trust of his manager Jose Pesiero who has given him four starts out of Nigeria’s five games played so far in Cote d’Ivoire.
