President-elect, Bola Tinubu is expected back in the country today.

Tinubu’s return to Nigeria was confirmed by his Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga on Monday.

Onanuga disclosed that the President-elect has been on vacation in France.

Tweeting, Onanuga wrote: “Nigeria’s President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu returns to Abuja today after weeks of a well deserved vacation in France. E kaabo! Se dada le de!”

Tinubu’s absence from Nigeria’s political scene has been a subject of controversy.

Reports had it that on March 22, Tinubu was secretly ferried abroad for medical treatment.

The reports alleged that Tinubu took ill after months of uninterrupted political campaigns across the nation.

But, Tinubu’s media team dismissed the narrative, stressing that he traveled to Paris for rest after a hectic campaign season.
