President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of eight new permanent secretaries in the Federal Civil Service. The appointments come as a result of the recently concluded selection process conducted by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

The new appointees are Ndakayo-Aishetu Gogo, Adeoye Ayodeji, Rimi Abba, Bako Deborah Odoh, Omachi Omenka, Ahmed Umar, Watti Tinuke, and Ella Agbo.

President Tinubu expressed his expectation that the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries, having emerged as top candidates through a diligent assessment process, will utilize their expertise and competence to rejuvenate service delivery across all Federal Ministries, Departments, and Agencies for the benefit of Nigerians. The appointments reflect ongoing efforts to strengthen and enhance the performance of the public service sector in Nigeria.
