NNPCL And Dangote Petroleum Refinery Pledge To Deepen Collaboration.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) and Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals (DPRP) have committed to strengthening their partnership to ensure Nigeria’s energy security and promote shared prosperity for Nigerians. This pledge was made during a courtesy visit by Aliko Dangote, President/Chief Executive of Dangote Group, to Bashir Bayo Ojulari, Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Ltd.

Dangote expressed his desire to collaborate with NNPC Ltd. to guarantee energy security for Nigeria, stating that the two organisations are not in competition but rather complement each other. “There is no competition between us. We are not here to compete with NNPC Ltd. NNPC is part and parcel of our business and we are also part of NNPC. This is an era of co-operation between the two organisations,” he said.

Ojulari assured Dangote of a mutually beneficial partnership anchored on healthy competition and productive collaboration. He highlighted the exceptional talent within NNPC Ltd., describing the workforce as dedicated, highly skilled, and hardworking professionals committed to delivering value for Nigeria.

Both executives envision limitless opportunities for their organisations through sustained productive collaboration and healthy competition. They have committed to being relationship managers for their respective organisations, driving innovation and shared purpose to build a legacy of national prosperity.

This partnership is expected to boost Nigeria’s energy security, drive economic growth, and promote shared prosperity for Nigerians. With both organisations working together, there is potential for significant progress in the country’s petroleum industry.
