Nigerian rapper Naira Marley has slammed his critics for condemning people who listen to his music.

The controversy started after some netizens were criticized for enjoying Naira Marley’s songs despite his alleged involvement in the death of his former record label signee, Mohbad.


Naira Marley took to his X page to address the criticism, sharing a series of tweets that condemned his detractors.





He told them to “shut up” and asked, “Who said no more Marantians?” The rapper also claimed that the sign of a person’s power is when many others gang up against them.

Naira Marley’s response has sparked a heated debate on social media, with many netizens reacting to his words.
