Renowned actress Eniola Ajao has taken to social media to issue a heartfelt apology following the recent controversy surrounding the award of ‘Best Dressed Female’ at her movie premiere.

The event, which garnered attention after the award was given to Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has sparked public reaction and criticism.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Eniola expressed regret and remorse over the unfolding events at the premiere of her movie “BEAST OF TWO WORLDS: AJAKAJU” held on Sunday, 24th March, 2024. She addressed the public, taking full responsibility for the distress caused and seeking forgiveness for her actions.

Specifically, Eniola extended her sincerest apologies to the Muslim community, acknowledging the significance of the sacred month of Ramadan and expressing her regret for any offence caused during this period.

She offered profound apologies to the women in society, emphasising her understanding of the importance of upholding the dignity and respect of womanhood. Eniola assured her reverence for women and expressed her commitment to never engage in behaviour that undermines their role in society.

In a bid to rectify the situation and make amends, Eniola announced new winners for the ‘Best Dressed Female’ award. Bode Alao and another unnamed woman were honoured with the title, each receiving a generous sum of N1,000,000 (One Million Naira) as a token of apology and appreciation for their grace.
