Edo Queens Drawn In Group B For CAF Women’s Champions League.

Edo Queens, Nigeria’s representative in the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League, have been placed in Group B alongside defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa. The highly anticipated tournament is scheduled to take place from 9 to 23 November 2024 in Morocco.

With Mamelodi Sundowns considered the toughest competition in the group, there is growing optimism that Edo Queens can progress from the group stage. Many believe that apart from Sundowns, the Nigerian club should be able to confidently overcome the other teams in the group, giving them a solid chance to advance.

As preparations continue, the spotlight is firmly on Edo Queens to showcase their strength on the continental stage. The team will aim to not only make it through the group stage but also to challenge for the title in what promises to be a fiercely competitive tournament.

The CAF Women’s Champions League continues to highlight the growing prominence of women’s football in Africa, with teams from across the continent vying for glory in Morocco next month.
