Afrobeats superstar Davido has added another accolade to his impressive resume, securing the coveted Best Costume/Styling (Craft) award for his music video “Na Money” at the 12th Berlin Fashion Film Festival.

This international recognition underscores Davido’s innovative storytelling and dedication to showcasing African creativity.

“Na Money,” directed by Dammy Twitch and produced by Blessing Uzzi, is the third track off Davido’s critically acclaimed album ‘Timeless’. The song boasts soulful vocals from Grammy Award-winning singer Angélique Kidjo and Nigerian highlife stars The Cavemen, blending traditional and contemporary sounds to create a standout track.

The music video’s vibrant costumes, meticulously designed to reflect African culture, captivated the judges. Rich cultural elements, stunning visuals, and impeccable styling elevated the video, celebrating the beauty of African storytelling.

Davido’s win at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival cements his status as a trailblazer in the African music industry, reinforcing his position as one of the continent’s most successful and innovative artists.

As part of the renowned Berlinale, the Berlin Fashion Film Festival is a premier platform for filmmakers and fashion enthusiasts. Since 1951, the festival has drawn industry stars, filmmakers, and enthusiasts to Berlin annually.
