The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) have gone ahead to file an appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sports against Tobi Amusan. The AIU revealed that they have no confidence in the resolution reached by the Disciplinary Tribunal to acquit the hurdler of any wrongdoings. Amusan was charged earlier this year with an anti-doping violation as she missed some tests, a charge the Nigerian has maintained her innocence against. She was provisionally banned before the independent Disciplinary Tribunal found her not guilty and recommended that she be reinstated on August 17th.
