Lagos is filled with thrilling stories and adventures.

Here are some hacks to living and surviving in this bubbly City Lagos.

Prepare for drama: it might be mentally exhausting to do this but that’s the starting point. Such drama comes from such as monetary disagreement between you and an okada man or bus conductor or a vendor.

The list is endless. Some times a strangers drama even spills to you and you have to salvage yourself to come out of it. Worthy of note is to emphatically come to an understanding of what your payment is before entering any means of transportation. This is to avoid possible cases of banter when you get to you destination.

Be Vigilant: protect your belongings when hustling to get into a bus because some other people have other agenda. Empty Your pockets and put all your belongings in a central place like your bag. If you do not have a bag be guided and aware of your belongings and all those around you. Furthermore you must have seen videos of people having their phones snatched in buses while in traffic. While riding home ensure to have your phone down to your tight and keep it away from the window. The better option will be to put it away. If your jewelleries are a fortune, lock them away before they get lost.

For Drivers: When driving, always lock your doors. This prevents aggressive law enforcement (lastma & police ) from springing up a surprise as jumping into your car. This also safeguards you from thieves prowling around.

Another is to keep copies of your drivers license with you when driving. Give them that when asked to provide your license. This helps you as they can’t hold you without the original.
