Ekene Umenwa, a Nigerian actress, has shared the story of how she met her husband, Ifeanyi Ogbodo Alex.

In a recent interview, Umenwa revealed that they met through business several years ago.

“I met my husband years back… I think it is more than five years ago that I met him and it was business that brought us together,” she said. “Because he is into the kind of business that I do. As business brought us together, from business to friendship and the guy had started falling for me and I later fell for him.”

Umenwa also explained why she kept their relationship private until they got married. “I am a private person… I needed to be sure about it. I wanted both of us to pray about it because it is not easy,” she added.

Umenwa and Alex, a movie producer, tied the knot in November 2023 and recently welcomed their first child together.
