The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, has pledged his assistance to wounded soldiers in Nigeria. During his visit to Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State on Friday, Prince Harry affirmed his commitment to aiding those injured in service.

Governor Sani warmly welcomed the prince, lauding his dedication to the Nigerian Armed Forces and his efforts to support soldiers who have been wounded in the line of duty.

He emphasized the significance of such visits in bolstering the morale of the courageous men and women serving in the military.

Prince Harry’s presence in Nigeria underscores his dedication to fostering recovery, facilitating rehabilitation, and promoting respect for Nigerian soldiers.

Speaking on his mission, Prince Harry expressed his intention to utilize the platform of the Invictus Games, which he established a decade ago, to bring joy to wounded Nigerian soldiers and their families.

In a gesture of traditional hospitality, Governor Sani presented Prince Harry with gift items and adorned him in traditional Hausa attire.

Subsequently, Prince Harry and his delegation visited the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital to engage with wounded soldiers undergoing treatment, further reinforcing his commitment to their well-being.
