NPFL organizers and board of committee in IMC has released a communique to inform the public overnight that the second half of the season slated to kickstart February 4th will now hold after the completion of the on going AFCON tournament in Cote d’Ivoire (Govima Sport Reports)

NPFL second half resumption moved to a later date. The reason for the board’s decision isn’t fully known but many alleged it’s a gesture they took in a bid to rally support for the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Who continue the quest to conquer Africa for the fourth time when they face Angola tomorrow in the quarter finals.

The league board has decided that the second stanza will kick start Feb.14th, 3 days after 2023 AFCON. According to the information we gathered.

We shall bring you more details subsequently……
