When it comes to Fintech companies leading in  Africa, it is never a mistake to mention Nigeria as one of the vanguards of this new craft and innovation. In Nigeria, Opay, the popular fintech company, can never be far behind in this ranking.

This green -colour  with a touch of black formed letter “O” company has emerged victorious at the ADVAN African Awards for Marketing Excellence 2023, securing the prestigious Consumer Choice Award.

The ADVAN Awards stand as Nigeria’s pinnacle honour, acknowledging and applauding exceptional creativity and impactful contributions in brand marketing and activation.

The annual ceremony, held at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, late last month , witnessed a meticulous evaluation of key players across diverse industries, focusing on innovation, product quality, and impeccable customer service.

OPay, a leading player in the Fintech sector, stood out and was crowned the Consumer Choice awardee among Fintech companies in Nigeria.

The 12th edition of the ADVAN African Awards for Marketing Excellence introduced new categories named People’s Brand Awards, emphasising brands loved most by their consumers.

OPay secured the ADVAN People’s Brand Award in the Fintech category, further solidifying its status as the top choice for Nigerian consumers.

Expressing gratitude, OPay acknowledged and thanked its loyal customers for their unwavering support, votes, and trust in the platform for financial services.

The company sees this accolade as a testament to its genuine commitment to transforming and simplifying payments for Nigerians.

This recent recognition adds another layer of validation to OPay’s dedication and underscores its continuous efforts to excel in the Fintech landscape.

The achievement is a shared success with the platform’s user community, without whom this milestone would not have been attainable.
