Leading conglomerate Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) has appointed Kayode Oladapo as Business Head for its West Africa operations. 

With a profound background in business leadership and a track record of driving success in diverse brands, Oladapo is well-equipped to steer Godrej’s operations in West Africa towards greater heights.

Oladapo will steer GCPL’s growth strategy across markets, including Nigeria, Ghana and other African countries. His appointment aims to accelerate GCPL’s expansion in the thriving West African region.

According to GCPL, Oladapo’s experience driving success across diverse brands makes him well-suited to guide its West Africa business. His leadership will foster innovation, expand offerings, and nurture stakeholder relationships.





Oladapo expressed enthusiasm about leading GCPL’s West Africa operations. He aims to harness the region’s immense potential by leveraging GCPL’s legacy, innovation, and values. 

GCPL seeks to build partnerships, develop local talent and deliver tailored products to meet West African consumer needs under Oladapo.

Oladapo has over a decade of experience in executive roles at multinational companies. His expertise in strategic planning, market expansion, and operations will be key for GCPL.

Godrej Group is a big player in the Hair Fashion, Hair Care, Home insecticide, and Personal Care categories, particularly for women of African descent, offering a range of products tailored to their needs. The Company continues to expand its presence on the continent and other emerging markets, with manufacturing facilities in several African countries, including South Africa, Mozambique, Kenya, and Nigeria.

The Company has also made several acquisitions, reflecting its commitment to providing consumers with a wide range of quality products and improving its market leadership.

The company continues to expand its African manufacturing footprint. Oladapo’s appointment signals its dedication to long-term growth in the region.
