Manchester City will be looking to continue their fine start to the English Premier League season when they take on Fulham in their next game of the campaign this weekend.

The Pep Guardiola-led team will be going into the contest after their hard fought 2-1 away win over Sheffield United last Sunday, and they will be looking for another victory over Fulham to continue with their 100% start in the campaign.

Fulham, on the other hand, will enter the game off the back of their 2-2 draw with Arsenal in their English Premier League outing, the cottagers also beat Tottenham 5-3 on penalties in their Carabao cup second round game and they will be looking for a surprise victory over the Cityzens to improve their standing in the league standings.

Head-to-Head Summary:

Manchester City and Fulham have faced off 34 times since 2002, and the Sky Blues will be going into the next outing with a better head-to-head record of 21 wins over Fulham’s 4, while 9 out of their previous matches ended up in a draw. The last time both teams met City ran out 2-1 winners over Marco Siva’s Men.

Match Date and Kickoff Time:

The game is billed to take place on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the Etihad Stadium. The tie has been scheduled to begin at exactly 3 p.m. Nigerian time.

Prediction:

The supercomputer is confidently predicting another win for the champions on Saturday, assigning City a 71.8% chance of victory.

Fulham are given just a 9.4% chance of winning at the Etihad for the first time since 2009, with the likelihood of the draw rated at 18.8%.
