Here are some Easter holiday ideas you can try.

Easter is around the corner. It’s a time to remember the persecution, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Like in other parts of the continent, millions of Christian Nigeria celebrate their redemption during the Easter season.

The celebrations tend to engage people of different beliefs in communities. Regardless of one’s faith, it is common to find people in different communities sharing food, drinks, goodwill, and the likes.

In the spirit of sharing in the celebrations, here are some ideas that you can try out in your personal life.

Go for confession

In the religious sense, confession is an acknowledgment of one’s sins (wrong thoughts and actions). It is done to one’s faith, a fellow person, or an acting mediator in one’s faith.

It can be a way to get mental and emotional peace if done with the right person.

Join the way of the cross

The way of the cross is usually done the week before Easter. It is a series of portrayals of Christ’s journey until Golgotha. It is can be a good way to socialise and get moving.

Make amends

Reach out to people you wish to make amends with. Work on repairing relationships with loved ones and yourself. Take care of yourself and learn from past mistakes how to handle relationships better.

Create your own Easter tradition

Community and family traditions are great ways to connect and bond with one another. Personal traditions are also important for personal well-being as they represent the ways we feel and think and the things we believe in. Plus, that is how family traditions start.

Celebrate your resolutions

Three months into the new year is a good place to check in with yourself concerning your resolutions. Celebrate your wins and strategise for more.
